SCSU to require masks on campus for fall semester

St. Cloud State University announces new changes for the upcoming fall semester

(UTVS) When students return to campus in August for the fall semester things will operate differently than in the past.

St. Cloud State University will be requiring the use of face masks for faculty, staff, students, and visitors in all buildings including classrooms and labs in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The change is in effect for at least the fall semester.

In an email sent to students, the university is reiterating the safety of the Husky Community is their number one priority and is continuing to follow recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Minnesota Department of Health, and the state of Minnesota.

“We Believe that Huskies need to take care of each other and this is one way we will do this during the pandemic.”

There will be a follow-up email with additional details sent to students at a later date as the university finalizes protocols for the upcoming semester.
