Former Minneapolis Police Officer, Mohamed Noor has been released from Hennepin County Jail after posting bail Wednesday. Noor has been charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter after shooting Justine Damond, last July. Last year, Damond called 911 to report a possible assault in the alley on her block. Noor shot Damond while investigating the 911 call. As part of Noor’s bail, he will be prohibited from contact with his former partner who was present when Damond was shot. Noor will be due in court on May 8th.
