On the 18th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that killed thousands of innocent people, members of the St. Cloud community gathered to commemorate the holiday. Military, first responders, fire and police responders were all in attendance as they held a flag raising ceremony in front of the SCSU administration building. Fire department captain Glen Koshiol told me that he was on his way to pick up a new fire truck when he got the news about the attacks. St. Cloud State hosts a flag raising every year so if you did not make it out today, be sure to come next year as it is open to the public.
