2019 NFL Draft

The day is finally here. The first round of the NFL Draft is tonight and many talented college athletes are looking to continue their athletic talents and are striving to succeed at the next level. The 2019 draft class is very defensive heavy with names like Nick Bosa (Ohio State University), Quinnen Williams (Alabama), Devin White (LSU), and Josh Allen (Kentucky) are projected to be top ten draft picks with many more defensive position players to follow in the first round. Other teams on the other hand are looking to find their franchise quarterback. Arizona has shown interest in Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray, and other names like Dwayne Haskins (Ohio State University), Drew Locke (Missouri), and Daniel Jones (Duke) headline the other top quarterback prospects that might have the future of the franchise put into. The first round is tonight with rounds two and three to follow on Friday, and the final rounds (four through seven) will take place on Saturday. The Vikings hold one pick in the first round (No. 18), and they are expected to draft an offensive lineman to improve their shallow O-Line to protect their veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins. Stay tuned to tomorrow for an analysis of the Minnesota Vikings draft pick along with other key picks and surprises from the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
