Flags flying half-staff after death of conservation officer

by

Governor Tim Walz is ordering flags down to half-staff in honor of a fallen conservation officer.

Eugene Wynn died last Friday after being thrown from a boat during a search on Cross Lake. The governor proclaimed Wynn’s excellence, saying that Wynn was an outstanding officer admired and respected by his peers while serving with dignity and pride.

All flags at every state and federal building in Minnesota will fly at half-staff through Friday.
