OSLO, Minn. (UTVS) – Spring flooding has turned a northwest Minnesota community into an island. The rising Red River has flooded two highways leading in and out of Oslo, a city near the North Dakota border. It’s the fifth time in the last decade that flooding has enveloped the community. A lot of people were able to leave the city before the roads flooded. Kitty Stromberg at Kitty’s café has stocked up to feed the remaining residents. If flooding persists food and supplies will be brought over by boat.
