A Flintstones inspired house in California is facing heavy fire from the state. Retired publisher Florence Fang has created a massive homage to the 1960’s cartoon family the Flintstones. The decorations are so large that they are visible from the nearby highway. The town of Hillsborough claims that the decorations are a public nuisance. All of the landscaping was also done without a permit. Fang’s attorney says they will fight town officials for denying his right to enjoy his own property. The controversy has received national attention with thousands signing a petition to let him keep the sculptors.
