The man that robbed the Wells Fargo in Saint Cloud has been identified. After receiving tips from the public in addition to the investigation, the suspect has been identified as Khalid Hassan Mohamud of Utah. Mohamud was arrested while he was at the Minneapolis/Saint Paul International Airport nearly two weeks ago on previous charges he was facing from Utah. In Minnesota, he had a warrant issued for his arrest of 2nd Degree Aggrevated Robbery. He was booked in Hennepin County Jail, but was transferred to Stearns County Jail. Khalid is awaiting potential extradition back to Utah. Mohamud robbed the bank of Wells Fargo on the corner of 2nd Street South and 33rd Avenue on February 25th.
