Today is the one year anniversary of the tragic shooting in Parkland Florida. Parkland high school as well as high schools across the country are showing unification after the shooting that affected so many. Parkland and over a thousand schools in Florida observed a moment of silence this morning at 10:17 A.M. this was to honor the 17 victims who lost their lives in the deadliest school shooting in US history. Students of Stoneman Douglas high school honored first responders this morning by serving them breakfast, the Parkland students were also dismissed nearly three hours early today so that no students were on campus at the same time of the shooting last year. Multiple states including; Ohio, Virginia, and Washington are showing solidarity by wearing close to remember victims by as well as doing service projects in their communities in honor of the lives lost on that tragic day.
