Drug-Induced Homicide


WHEATON, Ill.-38-year old Francis Emanuele from Chicago has pleaded guilty to supplying a 15-year old student with a fatal amount of methadone. Emanuele pleaded guilty to drug-induced homicide and indecent solicitation of a child on Monday. The 15-year-old student from Spain became ill and was later found not breathing on May 3, 2016. A syringe and a bottle of methadone was recovered from the girl’s room by investigators. Emanuele taught the girl how to ingest the drug according to the authorities. Emanuele’s next court appearance is scheduled for December 17, 2018.
