Highway death


(LAKE HALLIE, Wis.)- A 21-year-old man accused of hitting and killing three girl scouts and a mother with his pickup truck was inhaling chemical vapors prior to the crash. The girls were working in the ditch alongside a highway on Saturday when they were struck and killed. Colton Treu now faces 13 charges including four counts of homicide by intoxicated use of motor vehicle. Treu and his passenger admitted to intentionally inhaling the chemical vapors just before the crash.
