New Proposed Tax Bill Entering the Minnesota House Floor

A new tax bill is going to vote on the Minnesota House floor.

The new legislation aims to help tax filers from running into problems next year by updating Minnesota’s tax code to reflect federal changes.

Side effects of the bill includes tax increases for roughly 180,000 Minnesotans. Along with several cuts that previously helped tax payer save money.

The Minnesota Department of Revenue is in charge of overseeing the proposed bill.
