Popular musician Andy Grammer surprised a Minnesota fan too sick to come to one of his tour shows with a performance live in his living room. Alex Asche is currently battling cancer in his colon, liver, lungs and lymph nodes according to a GoFundMe page, a connection that drew Grammer in as his own mother battled breast cancer. An extended hospital stay after treatment kept Asche from being able to attend Grammer’s Minneapolis concert, and that’s when Asche’s wife Becky looked to find a way to replace the experience. Becky, along with many friends on Facebook, petitioned Grammer to come and play for Alex, and Grammer answered in a big way Tuesday by coming to perform in person. Grammer posted a Facebook Live video of the performance with his band filling Asche’s living room, playing multiple hit songs including “Keep Your Head Up” and “Smoke Clears”.
