The Northstar commuter train will be providing convenient transportation to all of the home Minnesota Twins baseball games. The rail service will begin as the Twins play their first home game which will be on April 5. Additionally, the Northstar will be running their Northstar link bus service that connects folks from the St. Cloud area to the next train stop in Big Lake.
The bus service will also connect riders from the Becker area and will bring riders to the Northstar commuter Big Lake station. Not only can people take the Northstar rail to all of the Twins home games, but they can also take the train home after the game.
Following the last out of the game, the commuter rail will depart Target Field at either their regular scheduled departure times, or 30 minutes after the end of the game, whichever fits for the fans best depending on the end time. Also, the Northstar Link will be waiting for passengers at the Big Lake station to bring home folks who live in the St. Cloud and Becker areas.
Even if the Twins are having a special fireworks night at Target Field after games, the Northstar rail will leave a half an hour after they are done. The cost of a one-way ticket for the link bus will sell for $2.00 and the price for the commuter rail will vary depending on where people pick the train up from.
