Minnesota Gun Laws


A bill that would create expansive background checks on gun sales is gaining support from G.O.P. Senators Scott Jensen of Chaska and Paul Anderson of Plymouth in the Minnesota legislature about gun policies are crossing party borders.

These Republicans backed up several Democrats on Monday on the bill. The siding with legislation which would ensure deeper Background checks and the reporting of lost or stolen guns. The legislation comes as a reaction to the shooting in Parkland, Florida that killed 17 and injured 14.
