Former Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson has been ordered to pay around $600,000 from the court after defaulting on a loan from the Crown Bank of Edina. He was sued back in November after failing to pay the balance of a $2.4 million loan he took out in May 2016. Peterson had defaulted on the loan back in October 2016, shortly after injuring his knee. Since then, he has only paid $1.9 million. Peterson has pledged his Vikings contract as Collateral for the loan but the Vikings released him before the 2017 season. The Court records show Peterson has not filed an answer to the lawsuit or to contest the bank’s claim.
