Zimmerman Group Home Knife Threat

Zimmerman, MN – Billy Ray Wayne Vogt, a 24 year old resident of Zimmerman group home, has been charged with two counts of second-degree assault. Vogt was reported to have threatened to stab an employee. Then, he pulled one of the employees down a flight of stairs as they tried to flee up some stairs to get away. The employee that fell backwards down the stairs hit her head on the floor.

Vogt fled the group home, but deputies found him hiding under a tree in the wooded area near the group home. He was arrested Monday morning, and had his first court appearance Wednesday.
