Christmas Tree season is here and Christmas tree farms in central Minnesota are gearing up for the busiest time of the year. B&J Evergreen is a Christmas tree farm in Clear Water Minnesota and they expect to see up to 15,000 people per year visit their farm. Trent Johnson the owner says they have trees up to 25 feet tall, and that every year people by the tallest trees on the farm. The trees not only bring people joy around the holidays, but they provide environmental benefits as well, since Christmas trees take 10 years to grow fully, they emit the most oxygen. Not only that but the trees are all hand planted and taken care of the entire year. Once the trees go home to families they should be well taken care of. The trees should be freshly cut before people put them in their stand. They also should have plenty of water especially during the first week. With the proper care the trees can even last 45-60, making it well worth the trip.
