ST. CLOUD, Minnesota – St. John’ Episcopal Church in St. Cloud Minnesota has reached an agreement with the city zoning board to build a 384-square-foot house to shelter the homeless. The new house will replace the current 123-square-foot house on wheels which sheltered one homeless at a time.
The agreement was reached after the Church filed and won a Federal Lawsuit with the city because the 123-square-foot house didn’t meet the state building code, the new house will be compliant with state building codes.
The 384-foot house will be connected to the church’s water, sewer utilities, and will include electric heat.
