Waite Park Shooting


A male victim is still in critical condition after a shooting in Waite Park, MN last night.

At about 8 p.m. last night a deputy officer was flagged down by a witness to the incident the 200 block of Waite Avenue and directed to the scene. The officer arrived, found the armed suspect swiftly, and immediately took him into custody. Officials from the Waite Park Police Department and surrounding areas responded to the scene to help and give medical attention.

The victim was a thirty-six year-old male who was shot in the upper body and is currently in critical condition at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Fifty-four year old Herbert Cambell is now is custody at the St. Cloud Police department and the case is still under investigation.
