Hopkins Man Indicted

A Hopkins man has been charged with 21 counts related to the distribution of controlled substances. According to the indictment 28-year-old Aaron Rhy Broussard obtained controlled substances from China-based drug suppliers, repackaged, and sold the controlled substances leading to 11 people dead. Fentanyl was included in many of the packages Broussard set. No court date has been set.

Former Minnesota Vikings Owner Found Dead

Former Minnesota Vikings part-owner has seemingly shot his wife before taking his own life last Wednesday. The 77-year-old couple was found dead from gunshots wounds in their Orono home. Irwan Lawrence Jacobs died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds and his wife died form gunshot wounds according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner. Irwin Jacobs owned the Vikings in the 1980s.
