Saint Cloud Minnesota – Retirement happens once in a lifetime, after all the years of hard work. Steve Frank a former Political Science professor of Saint Cloud State University has retired.
Steve says “It’s a missed feeling to retire.” When that time comes, many will miss you and you will miss all your colleagues, friends and the job.
Kathy Uradnik a professor at SCSU said “He is going to be missed, I am personally going to miss him. I am sad that he is retiring” King Banaian the Dean of Saint Cloud State also said “ I am going to miss him when he goes”. Steve is going to miss his colleagues, and the student.
Being the founder of SCSU Survey. Steve Frank has been a teacher since 1978, serving 38 of those years at SCSU. And now the survey center will be named after him. Hence it is now going to be the “Steven Frank SCSU Survey Center”.
‘Before there was a computer run survey, there was a paper and a pencil to do the survey according to Steven Wagner a professor from the survey team . The program teaches students how to actively conduct research. Students work through a scientific method by creating hypotheses and questions that may be used in public opinion surveys.
Some of his past student said he made an impact in their lives and his influence has touched thousands of life’s. Many enjoyed working with him and wish him all the best. some are grateful for all the council and great wisdom he shared with them .
Steve is planning on writing a book, travel, take care of his health and see what happens. The SCSU Survey was ranked 3rd in the nation by the Nate Silvers for being accurate and reliable
